His goal was to build a company catering to the clients' needs so the firm can do the work and research to find the best products and platform for the consumer - instead of being limited to one company.
Marc Merritt, Executive Vice President
Marc Merritt is a seasoned corporate banking executive who has spent the last 28 years in various roles in Corporate Banking for Citibank, JPMorgan and Merrill Lynch as a Loan Underwriter and a Relationship Manager. Marc is presently a corporate loan officer for a community bank based in Astoria, NY. Marc focuses on overall financial consulting and can provide appropriate solutions for most all of your financial needs. Marc is a registered Life and Health Representative and has a background in Investments and Private Banking as well. He also has a background in business consultation and has worked as a CFO for a NYC technology firm. Marc has been formally trained in commercial credit underwriting with HSBC and is a graduate of Babson College (B.S. in Bus Mgt) and attended Hofstra University’s MBA program. Marc is also high proficient with technology.

Rio Hioe is a dedicated, experienced Insurance and Mortgage Consultant. He prides himself on listening to his customers and understanding what they need, then he works hard to help them with the insurance and mortgage plan that best fits their situation.
A veteran of the insurance industry, Rio started his career in 1995 with John Hancock Financial Services. He then decided to become an independent consultant with World Group Securities and shortly after, he was managing over 100 agents in Flushing and Manhattan offices. In 2002, he expanded his services by offering mortgage to his clients. Currently, he brought his 13 years sales experience to Countrywide Insurance Services where he becomes one of the top producer in Portland area.
Rio is licensed in Property and Casualty, Life and Health Insurance. He is also a Series 6, 63 and 26 certificate holder.

Rio studied at Baruch College of City University of New York and received his Bachelor degree in International Marketing. In addition to English, Rio is fluent in Indonesian. In his free time, Rio likes reading, travelling and spending time with his wife, Judy and 2 young children, Ethan and Adam.
